<description><![CDATA[Julian<br /><br />I looked at a number of frameworks (jQuery mobile, sencha touch) but found one annoyance : moving from page to page caused the address bar to show (briefly) so in the end I simply output all HTML from pure javascript (very simple really) and jQuery. Looked just like an app due to the icons used. Having said that, I would next time use a framework to save time.<br /><br />As for offline storage, I used the SQL lite built into HTML5 browsers. 5mb is the default but is not (AFAIK) the limit : you can set it to the device's memory limit - though you won't be popular if you fill up someone's smartphone!]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Seems you completely missed the JQuery Mobile option.<br /><br />Personally I am a big fan of JQuery. And even more so for JQuery Mobile. It is extremely suited to the traditional way of using Domino development in that views become lists and and documents are loaded as pages in JQuery. It is very fast and simple. If you have an existing app you can create a mobile specific version in less than an hour.<br /><br />By using manifest and data caching you can also use the app off-line as well.]]></description>
