HUGE starting time improvement for XPages applications in the Notes 8.5.3 client
I just tried the new XPagesPreload notes.ini variable in the Notes 8.5.3 client with our new xSearch application.
I added these variables to the notes.ini of my Notes 8.5.3 beta client: XPagesPreload=1 XPagesPreloadDB=Office4!!intranet/yn_searchcenter2.nsf After restarting the client, the time for the first time start of the application was reduced from about 20 seconds to 3-4 seconds. After this initial start, the application opens instantly (in about one second). A great improvement!
